Apache Ant™ is a Java-based build tool. Instead of writing shell commands, the configuration files are XML-based, calling out a target tree where various tasks get executed. Each task is run by an object that implements a particular Task interface.
Ant is kind of like Make, but without Make's wrinkles.

The GCF™, or "Government Class Framework" technology, offers document historical tracking, versioning, ownership, e-signature, security and DPP (Document Processing Path).
The GCF is the backbone of the management of SOClass e-documents. It allows users to access all versions of a particular document and to retrace the evolution of an e-document.

The SOClass™ ELF™, or Extensive, Large and Fast e-documents support technology, is composed of a set of specialized JAVA™ classes compliant with the JFC™, SOClass™ architecture.
ELF reduces dramatically memory footprint compared to a standard JFC implementation. As a consequence, the use of ELF technology seriously impacts on the overall response time - and operability - of the system, considerably improving the display of mammoth e-documents and increasing their user friendliness.

SOClass™ FTnetP™, or Fault Tolerant Network Protocol technology, dramatically enhances the Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI™) system.
FTNetP addresses RMI shortcomings in live industrial environments, providing a practical solution to operational environments where the use of firewalls, proxies and routers renders standard RMI implementations impracticable as such. It also copes with network communication failures between server and clients, and opens the possibility for clients to use simultaneous various proprietary secure communication protocols.
FTNetP paves the way towards dynamic upgrade of server application software with no interruption of service for clients.

SOClass™ ULA™, or Ultra Light Architecture (ULA™) technology, targets primarily emerging portable Internet client appliances such as Personal Digital Assistant and cell phones. However, its flexible design also allows for classical light Web clients such as HTML browsers.
Although the underlying ULA Java technology is “Servlets”, the technological integration of the SOClass platform hides the complexity to application developers. In order to develop ULA e-documents, the standard SOClass precepts and rules are to be applied: learn once, develop anywhere!
