Adams Flea and Tick Mist is an insecticide, repellent and deodorant used for veterinary purposes to kill fleas,
ticks, and lice and temporarily repels flies, gnats and mosquitoes. Active ingredients include pyrethrins
(0.15%), piperonyl butoxide, technical (1.50%), n-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide (0.51%), di-npropyl isocinchomeronate (0.50%). The other ingredients include grooming additives to ease combing and
brushing of the dog’s or cat’s coat to remove dead fleas, ticks and lice.
Analysis and Justification
The active ingredients pyrethrin is a synthethic chemical compound used in insecticides and repellants while
piperonyl butoxide,technical and n-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide are both used as synergists to enhance the potency of the pyrethroid ingredients in the insectide. Di-n-propyl isocinchomeronate is a fly repellent.

classified under tariff sub-heading 3808.91.30
