Description
Frontline, Frontline Top Spot or Frontline Plus is a parasiticide used for veterinary purposes to kill adult fleas and larvae, ticks, and chewing lice. It is put up in two (2) forms, liquid or spray, that is applied or sprayed along the backs of dogs and cats. The active ingredient is fipronil (9.7%) which works by affecting the parasite’s nervous system causing paralysis and death. Fipronil spreads over the body with the body oils in about 24 hours after application killing 100% of the fleas or ticks within 24-48 hours. Other inactive ingredients account for 90.3% of the product.
