Customs & Excise Goes Live with ASYCUDA World 4.4.0: A New Era of Paperless Trade
Customs News Press release
Published 08 Jun, 2026
The Customs & Excise Department (CED) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has officially launched ASYCUDA World 4.4.0. With this major upgrade, Commercial Entries and Entries for Home Use will now be processed on a paperless basis, replacing manual, document-heavy procedures with a modern, secure, and digital system for managing customs declarations.
This launch delivers on the Department’s commitment to providing faster, smarter, and more efficient customs services. Declarations, supporting documents, and approvals for Commercial and Entries for Home Use are now handled electronically. This transition significantly reduces processing times, improves data accuracy, and increases transparency throughout the cargo clearance process.
What This Means for the Trading Community
Electronic Processing
Declarations and supporting documents are submitted, reviewed, and approved online, eliminating the need for physical paperwork.
Secure ePayments
Duties and taxes can be paid electronically via GovPay through the official online payment platform (customsportal.gov.vc), reducing in-person cash office transactions.
Faster Clearance Times
Streamlined digital workflows drastically reduce turnaround times for both imports and exports.
Enhanced Transparency
Traders can track the real-time status of their declarations and seamlessly access historical records.
Anytime, Anywhere Access
Authorized users can securely log in and interact with the system from any internet-connected device.
