Before a drone can be imported in St Vincent and the Grenadines, it must be type approved by the NTRC. For the drone to be approved, you are required to fill out a clearance form which, when approved, you will take to the Customs Department to clear the Drone.
On the form, information regarding the make, model number and number of units, etc. to be imported are required. There are no fees to be paid to apply for approval.
We believe this enhancement will significantly improve efficiency and productivity.
Please fill out the required information on the form and send it to us via email. The form must be signed by the Applicant. After receiving and processing your application, once approved we will then send you a scan copy of the approved custom clearance form via email which should be printed and presented to the Customs Department in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the clearance of the Drone.
In addition to gaining radio clearance from the NTRC, the drone must also be registered with the AIA before it can be brought into the country. We have attached the form to be completed and submitted to the Civil Aviation department for your convenience
